On October 14, 2001, a small group of friends came together in garage in Hankamer, Texas to have a time of praise, worship and Bible Study. Some brought coffee, some donuts, and all of them came with a heart full of love for God. From that small group of believers, God formed Hankamer Community Fellowship.

Within a very short period of time the number of people attending services were more than the garage could accommodate. God, using very generous and God loving people, provided a barn that was converted into a church building. The converted barn served the needs of God's people very well for several years.

God grew His church, increasing the number of people and ministries within the church, leaving little for future growth. Once again, God provided our needs by using very generous people including all the people who called Hankamer Community Fellowship "home" to provide a larger church building so that His word could be taught to and shared with more people. In 2012, the building which presently houses Hankamer Community Fellowship was complete.

We've come a long way from the garage but, we still bring coffee and we still bring donuts. But most importantly, we still have hearts full of love for God.
